The 2001 Pan Am Badminton Championships (Spanish: Campeonato Panamericano de Bádminton 2001) was the tenth edition of the Pan American Badminton Championships. The tournament was originally scheduled to start on 24 September but was later rescheduled to 22 October. The tournament was held at Club de Regatas Lima in Lima, Peru. Eight countries competed in the championships.

Unlike the previous editions of the Pan American Championships, this edition of the championships were played in a best of 5 playoff format. This marked the first time the American badminton team outperformed Canada in the medal tally, with four gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze medal.

Knockout stage

In the semi-finals of the mixed team event, Canada defeated Peru 5–0 while the United States defeated Guatemala 5–0 to enter the final. In the bronze medal match, Guatemala defeated Peru 3–2. In the final, the United States defeated reigning champions Canada 3–2 to win their first ever title at the Pan American Mixed Team Championships.
