- Talk pages of articles are assigned this category by placing the {{WikiProject South America|...|Uruguay=yes}} template on them. The scope of these articles should be wider than Uruguay and the other countries included in the scope should also be entered in the template (Argentina=yes|Chile=yes|etc).
- If the scope of the article is mainly about Uruguay, please use the {{WikiProject Uruguay}} template instead.
- If additional attention from WP South America is deemed necessary, the SA template can also be used, but without the Uruguay=yes parameter.
