D Gopidas Thoppil Damodaran Gopidas is an Indian Poet, critic and and orator who mainly focus in the Malayalam Literary Arena. He was widely accepted for his critical thinking, poetic style of short stories and different presentation style when it comes to literary articles.

Career He was retired from Govt of Kerala from the capacity of Sheristedar Family Court Alappuzha.

Personal Life He was born and brought up in the coastal village of Pathirappally Alappuzha. He was born as the elder son of Late Damodaran Achary and Late Bhavani Amma. He is married to Rajamma and blessed with two children, Harikrishnan and Sreelekshmi.

Awards He has won numerous awards and accolades in the literary field. He has won the prestigious Samashti award in the competition held among Government servants in an all Kerala event.
