Draft:Hei! Jangan Kau Patahkan

Hei! Jangan Kau Patahkan (English: Hey! Do Not Break It) is an Indonesian sonnet written by Sapardi Djoko Damono in 1967. The text tells about children's awareness of plants around them.

Sukarlan setting

Ananda Sukarlan used the text in his choral composition of the same name, for SSAA voices in 2007. The work is in 2 minutes 45 seconds long, with a "funky" opening and a quiet, lyrical ending.

On 17 July 2008, Bina Vokalia children and youth choir performed this piece, after the shortened version of A Hymn for the Olympic Sportsmen, during the concert The Greatest Hits of Ananda Sukarlan, at the Alila Hotel, Jakarta.
