Specific text to be added or removed: Royal Charter On 9 October 2009, Queen Elizabeth II signed the Royal Charter, formally creating the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). The terms of each Charter are therefore somewhat different, depending on the individual requirements of the type of organisation that is being incorporated Article 2 on the Charter declares the objects for which the Institute is established: * To promote for the public benefit the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field of securities and investments. * To develop high professional, educational and ethical standards for practitioners in securities and investments and to promote such standards in the United Kingdom and overseas. * To act as an authoritative body for the purpose of consultation and research in matters of educational or public interest concerning securities and investments.
Reason for the change: To include information about the history of the CISI Royal charter, how it came to be formed and what the royal charter states about the purpose of the CISI.
Not done: The material above is incoherent, poorly written, poorly sourced and contains non-encyclopaedic material. In addition, the requesting user is an obvious sockpuppet of a user blocked earlier today. Axad12 (talk) 16:12, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
