Dean Cochran's Year of Birth

I finally found it's real biography source for Dean Cochran's Year of Birth. It was from the Independent website called GazillionMovies.com, and I know that the Internet Movie Database is still no good for it's biography and it's sources. So GazillionMovies.com says "He was born in March 18, 1969 (3/18/1969)." So I finally found it's source maybe, but I don't want User:216.205.235.251 to change the wrong date of birth. The correct year of birth is still born in 1969 is according to GazillionMovies.com. And no IP or registered users not to change it's source. Steam5 (talk) 00:54, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know that IMDb is not the source for information and IMDb.com says "1969", but still has no information. And GazillionMovies.com found the real date of birth, And GazillionMovies.com says "1969". No users not to change the false information. Steam5 (talk) 21:23, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I cannot understand your rationale here. Please review the source provided that suggests 1972 is correct (it says Cochran was aged 35 in July 2006): http://www.antonnews.com/hicksvilleillustratednews/2006/07/21/news/. No, not reliable. Nothing hosted on Geocities.com will be reliable as they are all going to be considered self-published sources. As to the astrology website... not clear. There's still the problem that there's a definitely reliable source (that is, an actual newspaper article with editorial oversight) which states his age on July 21, 2006. Unless that source is wrong, it's not possible for Cochran to have been born before 1970. And if the source is wrong, that means we need an even higher-quality source which states his age. These geocities sites and user content-driven sites just don't pass muster for any purpose. Considering there is a conflict of sources here, and we don't have a reliable source that actually states his DoB, the best step from a WP:BLP perspective is to remove the date of birth and age entirely. —/Mendaliv/^2¢/_Δ's/ 02:06, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
