Merge proposal
I propose merging Kaplan University into Purdue University Global. I find it unusual for a university to be split into two articles - e.g. University of Arizona Global Campus, a very similar university, includes the history of the former Ashford University in its article (and not separately) wizzito | say hello! 00:16, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
- I appreciate the suggestion but I worry that the size of the two articles may make it impractical to merge them into one. ElKevbo (talk) 02:17, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
- Good suggestion. Not sure how that could be done. wizzito | say hello! 01:00, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- I support this move. Jjazz76 (talk) 07:51, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
- The University of Arizona Global Campus article is not a good model for a high-quality encyclopedia entry. The majority of the content consists of trivia unrelated to the current institution. As a result, readers gain little insight into UAGC's present-day operations or the reasons students choose to attend. Also, the inclusion of numerous predecessor institutions results in inconsistencies regarding the founder and the founding date. I would suggest that that article not be used as a model for others.
