Mode of Action

"Selamectin disables parasites by replacing glutamate in their muscle synapses;" What does it replace glutamate with? Maybe this sentence needs to be written more clearly..? --74.179.120.194 (talk) 22:35, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have no experience on the subject, but based on the rest of the paragraph, it sounds like it itself is what the glutamate is replaced with; i.e. where glutamate would be, the selamectin goes instead. Correct me if I'm wrong. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 01:02, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
