West Indies
For the French colonisation, I changed the link from New France to French colonization of the Americas because New France doesn't include the West Indies, which were colonised to create places like Haiti. The West Indies are considered by some people to be a part of North America, just like some consider the islands of Newfoundland and Vancouver Island to be.
