Template talk:Post-nominals

Template-protected edit request on 22 August 2024

In Template:Post-nominals/GBR, change CH = CH to CH = CH as per the proper Wiki article name. Zimbabweed (talk) 21:13, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Companion of Honour is a redirect that targets Order of the Companions of Honour, so  not done per WP:NOTBROKEN. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 15:31, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please implement the changes at this diff. I've moved |size= to the called templates, to ensure that only the letters are changed in size, not punctuation. ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 00:14, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please change span class="noexcerpt nowraplinks" style="font-weight:normal;" to span class="nobold noexcerpt nowraplinks" style="font-size:{{#if:{{{unlinked|{{{list|{}}}}}}}|{85%}}};". This restores the |size= function for § Unlinked and/or custom-linked post-nominals. Thanks, ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 22:10, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should FRASE be added to the template? It means Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE). HandsomeFella (talk) 15:17, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Completed – as is common with these post-nominals, a redirect has been created at FRASE, to direct readers to the associated article. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 10:00, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request 30 January 2025

Description of suggested change: While I understand that Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland can't use FRAS in the template due to naming conflict, changing it to FRAsS seems like an WP:OR. Googling "FRAsS post nominals" have this template as first result.

Using FRAsS internally, while the link label show as FRAS could be better solution.

Diff:

FRAsS = FRAsS
+
FRAsS = FRAS
