Charles F. Mudie ( -1958) was an Australian impressionist painter, noted for his mountain and coastal scenes who was active betwen 1904 and 1934. Mudie attended the Bairnsdale School of Mines and in 1905 he was conducting classes at the Camperdown mechanics' insitute. He later became the director of the Nhill Technical School (1907-1913 ), art master at Beechworth Technical School(1913- ) and senior art master (1916-1944) of Footscray Technical College. Lillian Ann Mudie died in 1937.
