PoPuP Community Art Shows ... PoPuP is a community arts project, which holds nonjuried community art shows in conventional and unconventional spaces, such as barbershops and non-profit galleries. PoPuP's mission is to celebrate the arts community by raising awareness and funding for artists and local organizations or businesses in need of support. By acting as a liaison between artists, venues, donors, and the public, PoPuP encourages communication and fosters a creative dialogue that explores the relationship between the arts and commerce, and life and representation. Participating artists accept only a portion of the proceeds of their art sales and donate the remainder to a selected cause, in the case of PoPuP 3, proceeds will be donated to the selected cause.
