Tom Fallenstein |
---|
Tom Fallenstein is the CEO of Costumes Galore, a privately held multimillion dollar company in the Halloween costume and tuxedo industries. Costumes Galore is most notable for its online Halloween costume shop HalloweenCostumes.com.
Career
Fallenstein's family founded Costumes Galore in 1992 as a local costume rental business based out of their garage in Mankato, MN. In 2004, Fallenstein graduated with a B.A. in Computer Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He designed the company's first website in order to reach out to domestic and international markets. Online sales quickly became such a large portion of total revenue that the company closed its storefront in 2005 to sell products exclusively online.
Recognition
Fallenstein won Connect Business Magazine's Business Person of the Year Runner-up award in 2007.
