Arc Games infobox
Hi! I restored your edit/restoration on the infobox. I already stated why I reverted that anon's previous edit, but I clarify:
- You restored the "Perfecf World" typo
- Perfect World Europe was the parent at the time of Embracer acquisition, but couldn't be from 2008; Perfect World Europe was founded in 2010!
- The description of the company infobox states that: "If the company is majority-owned by a single entity and as such is a subsidiary or division, omit the owner field and use the parent field instead. Do not use the owner field to indicate top-level ownership if it differs from the direct parent."
WolfmanFP (talk) 15:36, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello there. While editing I forgot that Take-Two had NOT acquired Arc Games as of the time being, they announced it would complete before the end of the fiscal year. Use Gearbox Publishing (2022-present) for now until they have announced the purchase has gone through. Referring to the sources about the acquisition the company might be transferred to other Embracer divisions. Hence, I do think it is best to keep how it was before to avoid confusion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lit (video game), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Android. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

August 2024
Hi MimirIsSmart! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. ...
All of your edits are being marked as "minor". This is incorrect. Please refer to WP:MINOR where it says A check to the minor edit box signifies that only superficial differences exist between the current and previous versions.

Production companies
Please do not remove sourced content or add unsourced production companies. Many companies are involved in making films, sometimes including animation companies. They are not necessarily production companies. To be labeled a production company, a source is required that explicitly says so. In many articles, a source is already provided in the infobox. Edits using Special:AncientPages
Why are you going through every page on Special:AncientPages and editing them? CutlassCiera 01:09, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
- Some of those articles are genuinely outdated, with some surname pages including people that had died some time ago (one case dating back to 2022) and long after the surname pages had been last edited. Some could need a bit more polish, but if my edits somehow fail MOS of some projects it is fine to rewrite them or even revert if it's a mistake. MimirIsSmart (talk) 01:14, 7 November 2024 (UTC)

Better source request for File:Digital Champ.webp
Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 04:59, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
Warp (company) move/deletion
Good evening. I see that you have moved Warp to From Yellow To Orange. However, you failed to properly merge the articles, with the latter being a stub with nearly none of the information already present in the former. The Warp (company) article's history has been wiped as well, from what I can see, so that information is now gone. Is there some way to fix this? Thank you. Somewhatviable (talk) 20:10, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

Maintenance tags
Hello. I noticed this edit that you made where you updated the date on both the {{more citations needed}} and {{use dmy dates}} tags. These are of two kinds of maintenance tags. The first is a cleanup template. Cleanup tags are, it is hoped, temporary, meant to signal a problem. They should be removed once the problem has been resolved. The second is a monitoring tag. Monitoring tags are a signal to users to check the article every so often for continued compliance with whatever standard for that article the tag indicates. They remain on an article permanently.
If you checked the Republic of Formosa article for consistency with the DMY date convention, then it was correct for you to update the date on the DMY tag. That date is meant to indicates when the article was last checked for compliance. It enables editors to notice how long ago the article was last checked, so they can gauge whether it's time for another check. Once an editor has completed a check, it's time to reset the date.
However, the date on a cleanup tag indicates how long it's been since the tag was added to everyone can see when the issue it reports was flagged. That date should never be changed for as long as the tag remains on the page. Cleanup tags add categories to the articles that they're on that classify them by the type of problem and the month the problem was reported. In this case, with the date restored to its previous value, the Republic of Formosa article is now in the maintenance category Category:Articles needing additional references from May 2017. This enables users who perform maintenance tasks to use these categories to focus on articles that have had outstanding problems the longest.
For that reason, I've restored the original date on the citations tag, just for your information. And thanks for checking the dates! Largoplazo (talk) 14:13, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the notice. I apologize for this mistake and know what I did wrong now. MimirIsSmart (talk) 14:26, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted
Hi MimirIsSmart, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 20:02, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

Why are you reversing my changes? This village belongs to the region. And there should be a separate article about this village. And I wrote about this village, having reliable sources. If it does not require effort, write down the reason for the changes you made.--Rəcəb Yaxşı (talk) 07:45, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
- It was proposed to be deleted years ago before because it was originally created as part of mass creations of places that had existed but have no notability, by a user who retired under fire for this same reason. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abdullauşağı. After reviewing, I reverted my own edit, as long as you can supplement more reliable information than the stub the user had made. only yesterday
hi! i wanted to invite you personally (rather than only pinging you) to discuss potentially merging the only yesterday (1991 film) and only yesterday (soundtrack) articles. or at least talk about a balance between the articles. i'm not against the change you made, but my concern is that in the process both articles were left unattended to with issues on both. i'd like to discuss it more on the talk page :)
--Plifal (talk) 01:04, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- I would go for eliminating any inconsistencies in the soundtrack article with that of the film article instead. MimirIsSmart (talk) 01:22, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- @MimirIsSmart that's fine, but then i would politely request that you check content of what is being edited, the sources from which they are citing, and correcting any reference issues before applying your individual preferences. i haven't seen many reliable sources that discuss the soundtrack-as-soundtrack, leaving me questioning what makes it especially notable outside of its connection to the film (as compared to, e.g. spirited away).

USIYPT "cleanup" tag?
Hi, MrmirIsSmart. So, I see the "cleanup" tag on the United_States_Invitational_Young_Physicists_Tournament article. Thing is, there's nothing on the talk page, no indication on what the issue with the writing might be. I can't get rid of the tag, because I have a (very much non-financial!) conflict of interest, and I don't want people thinking I'm hiding issues with the article. But I simply don't see the issues! Could you please either remove the tag, fix the issues you see, or post on the talk page so folks can understand what you see? Thanks! Moishe Rosenbaum (talk) 17:14, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Square Europe
I saw in the infoboxes for most of the Squaresoft titles that you removed Square Europe from most of them. That was the actual name of their European division (Square Europe Ltd.), and my source is their official site which closed after the Square Enix merger. [1] Luigitehplumber (talk) 02:39, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- They are as notable an independent publisher as Nintendo of Europe and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (not counting the developers using that name), so I don't think it needs to be listed separately. Namco Hometek is a close contender to just be credited as Namco but it is an actually separate unit with its own development team. Square Europe just exists to publish and does not have their own branding and identity, so just crediting it as Square would make more sense. MimirIsSmart (talk) 02:49, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- Alright then. And plus, a lot of the titles that Namco published in the US (that had no affiliation with the Japanese titles) used "Namco Hometek, Inc." as the copyright holder; so that could explain something.
- I can guess that when it comes to Sony-published titles no matter what region, it's best to stick with the standard "Sony Computer Entertainment" name for consistency. Luigitehplumber (talk) 16:07, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
