Posting another user's draft to mainspace

Hello, PerfidiousSnatch, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as SandraHarsesWilson (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 17:38, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Belbury,
I am acquainted with some fellow Wikipedians in real life, and our interests occasionally intersect. However, I can confirm that this is my only account; all articles I publish are drafted by me alone; and there is no collusion in the dissemination of educational information. I have nothing to declare. However, because of the contentious nature of one of my articles,[1] Holly Jervis, it may be prudent for the page to be semi-protected—or perhaps even extended protected to be on the safe side! If your friend has written a sandbox draft and you're copying their work into a mainspace article, you should let other editors know that you've done that, rather than presenting it as your own writing. See Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia, specifically "Repairing insufficient attribution". Belbury (talk) 18:18, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
