Pink discography
Please refrain from replacing current sources for sales figures with those that have completely inflated sales figures within. Yesterday, I reverted most of your edits leaving a brief explanation in the edit summary. Pink's available certified units for those albums, the sources of which you keep replacing do not suggest such huge figures (see this detailed file for Pink's available certified sales). Also, some of your sources are not reliable including this. Please don't inflate sales figures in the future without discussion.--Harout72 (talk) 15:10, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- Goteborg Daily is a reliable news source from Sweden. The correct sales for the album Funhouse should be somewhere between 5 million and 6 million units based on its certified units, and not 7.5 million as you have changed it to in this edit. The available certified units for that album are as follows:
- U.S.: 2x Platinum (2 million certified units)
- U.K.: 3x Platinum (900,000 certified units)
- Germany: 4x Platinum (800,000 certified units)
- France: Platinum (100,000 certified units)
- Australia: 11x Platinum (770,000 certified units)
- Canada: 3x Platinum (240,000 certified units)
- Belgium: Platinum (30,000 certified units)
- Switzerland: 3x Platinum (90,000 certified units)
- Austria: 3x Platinum (60,000 certified units)
- Finland: Platinum (22,895 units)
- New Zealand: 3x Platinum (45,000 certified units)
- The total from those markets is 5,057,895 units. That is many more markets than just U.S., UK, AUS and Germany as you're suggesting. And those markets above cover 90-95% of the global music sales. So if you have a reliable source that claims some 6 million sold units for Funhouse, let me know, we'll update the figure and the source.--Harout72 (talk) 00:10, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
