- Harry Wilson (footballer, born 1953) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
I consider this article to be deleted for the following reasons:
- Article was created in 2010 with little to no major changes as of now.
- Entirely unsourced; no primary or secondary sources.
- Fails WP:GNG and Wikipedia:Notability_(sports)#Association football. No significant coverage. I tried looking up articles for the person on Google but found nothing.
- All there is to say about him are three sentences.
Once the article has been deleted, should we move Harry Wilson (footballer, born 1997) to Harry Wilson (Welsh footballer)? CuteDolphin712 (talk) 09:38, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

- Comment - for the record, the claim that the subject fails Wikipedia:Notability_(sports)#Association football is total nonsense. That guideline requires one appearance in a fully professional league. This player made nearly THREE HUNDRED -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 09:56, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

- Speedy keep Is this some kind of joke because the first source I turned up, all-though of a blog, clearly provides enough. [1] I don't think a comprehensive WP:BEFORE has been done at all. As GiantSnowman would say, article needs improving, not deleting. Govvy (talk) 10:19, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Keep - nomination is fundamentally flawed, nominator has clearly not followed BEFORE and clearly does not have a bloody clue about the notability requirements. As Chris says above, this player meets WP:NFOOTBALL with nearly 300 professional appearances - clearly notable. GiantSnowman 10:55, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Comment - Also when this discussion is closed, I could tag for {{BLP sources}} if I can.CuteDolphin712 (talk) 11:52, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Speedy keep, discussing this is a waste of time as the nominator is self-proclaimedly incompetent in finding sources. Google? Geschichte (talk) 16:53, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Keep - extremely notable in his field; has made hundreds of professional appearances Spiderone 18:05, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
- Keep. Per everybody else. I've expanded him a bit. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 19:08, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- Speedy Keep absurd nomination. Clearly notable. Let's close this and not waste anyone else's time with this garbage. Smartyllama (talk) 18:48, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
