This article relies too much on prmary sources. That is a problem for any article, but especially one on someone who was clearly a fringe figure John Pack Lambert (talk) 13:02, 29 April 2022 (UTC)

- Keep. Here are the first three articles I found at Newspapers.com; there are many, many more. [1],[2],[3] This is plenty of WP:SIGCOV, many articles, with lots of depth, easily meets WP:GNG. Jacona (talk) 13:27, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Book There are also several book mentions, including one that includes his name in the title: Men Of Mystery Nikola Tesla and Otis T. Carr: Weird Inventions Of The Strangest Men Who Ever Lived! Jacona (talk) 13:52, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Here are some additional books in which he's mentioned on the jacket: The Way Out World: UFOs, ESP, Aliens, Reincarnation, and More!, Nikola Tesla: Free Energy and the White Dove, UFO-related phenomena : Hollow Earth, Men in Black, Crop circle, Alien abduction, Cattle mutilation, Planetary objects proposed in religion, astrology and ufology, Glenn Dennis, Contactee, UFO religion, Unexplained disappearances, Ley line, Star jelly. In addition, there's JOYLAND, ALIENS AND THE MEN in BLACK BEHIND OTIS T. CARR'S FLYING SAUCER which includes him in the title. Jacona (talk) 14:13, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Keep. There are enough sources out there. A nut or con artist, but a moderately notable one. He's even given a paragraph in a Montreal Gazette newspaper article,[4] so his "fame" is international. Clarityfiend (talk) 21:58, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Keep. This is a disruptive nomination. Nominator knows perfectly well about WP:NEXIST and that the answer for a sourcing problem is a reference template (already there), NOT an AfD. The subject meets the WP:GNG per abundance of WP:SIGCOV. WP:SNOW clearly applies to this nomination. gidonb (talk) 14:35, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
