Nominator's rationale: These are all categories of works about difficult things, but we don't use the construction "dealing with" in any other categories. Things are either "about" something, or they're not. Nominator's rationale: The Calder Cup is the championship of the minor league American Hockey League. In my opinion, winning a minor league championship is not a defining characteristic of biographies. TM 14:10, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Yes, it's hard to see a minor league championship meeting WP:OC#AWARD, nor do I see AAA championships in Category:Baseball award winners.     - But that's not how we use Category:Stanley Cup champions. That is reserved for bio articles on players, which again, fails WP:OC#AWARD at the minor-league level. Even a 20+ Stanley Cup winner like the Montreal Canadiens isn't categorized in the way you propose. One has to go down to Category:Stanley Cup championship seasons to see individual winning seasons for teams, such as 1976–77 Montreal Canadiens season. We should consistently apply the same logic in the AHL. If someone wants to set about creating articles for AHL winning rosters or seasons, then the category could be recreated, under a slightly different name. Nominator's rationale: I went ahead and created several categories using the colloquial "SFA Lumberjacks and Ladyjacks" not the Stephen F. Austin State University athletic department's official "Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks and Ladyjacks." Nominator's rationale: I see no evidence from the article Unmanned aerial vehicle that drones are not unmanned aerial vehicles, so I believe that we can combine the concepts and spell out UAV as per the parent category Category:Unmanned aerial vehicles.   - Not to mention that the industry and press universally uses "Unmanned". (Ghits: Unmanned, 6,200,000; Unpiloted, 20,000.) In addition, the aircraft are piloted - just not by an on-board pilot. Comment Joe's multiple !votes here are getting pretty pointy, but I see that Hang gliding is a subcat of Category:Unpowered aviation and we do have a category branch for aviation accident victims, so I've added it, as a parent. Okay, I'm going to get off the fence -- carefully, given all the people falling from the sky around here -- and say Keep. While the paragliding cat seems to just have the one article and does not meet SMALLCAT at this time, imo, we now have three articles and two redirects in this category, which itself seems to be a bona fide member of both Category:Deaths in sport and Category:Victims of aviation accidents or incidents.     - I see that User:Ahunt has removed the categories with the edit summary "no cats for redirects." WP:RCAT isn't quite so sweeping, but I certainly can't find an exception in the guideline article that would allow me to reapply the cat, so down the number goes to three bio articles. Merge into something larger. Some of these were aviators, not sports people - and I doubt if the 2 or 3 from the 1880s thought of themselves as 'hang gliders'. Delete this ia an example of an overly limited category. There is no need for categories for every form of death. This reminds me of the ridiculously specialized deaths that appeared in Irregular Webcomic. Category:National Basketball Association films

Propose renaming Category:National Basketball Association films to Category:NBA Entertainment

Nominator's rationale: Right now, this category includes films where an NBA player has appeared, but that have no formal association with the NBA. There are a couple that do fit the bill, though, so I think we should rename using Category:NFL Films as a model, to encompass the parent article NBA Entertainment and the few film articles that do currently pertain?
