- The result of the discussion was: merge/rename. (non-admin closure) Qwerfjkltalk 19:28, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
- Nominator's rationale: merge/rename, the content of this category is not only about ethnic Arabs but also about all sorts of other ethnic groups in the Middle East, to such an extent does it almost resembles the Middle East category. Marcocapelle (talk) 22:11, 6 March 2024 (UTC)

- Propose renaming Category:Pennsylvanian tetrapods of Euope to Category:Pennsylvanian tetrapods of Europe
- Nominator's rationale: obvious typo —Trilletrollet [ Talk | Contribs ] 21:47, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Creator: I don't know how I didn't notice the misspelling before, I don't think we really need to discuss this as it's obvious. Lavalizard101 (talk) 23:31, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Rename per WP:C2A, this could have been listed at speedy. Marcocapelle (talk) 00:52, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: Delete categories and templates as unused. – Fayenatic London 10:31, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Delete per nom and a far too narrow topic for a stub category anyway. Marcocapelle (talk) 20:44, 6 March 2024 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was: merge (non-admin closure) Qwerfjkltalk 19:32, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
- Propose merging Category:Lutheran cathedrals by continent to Category:Lutheran cathedrals
- Nominator's rationale: No longer needed after Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2024 February 23#Category:Lutheran cathedrals in Greenland as it now only holds one subcat (Europe). – Fayenatic London 09:30, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Merge per nom. Sibling Category:Lutheran cathedrals by country is redundant too, but for a different reason. Marcocapelle (talk) 20:46, 6 March 2024 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was: delete (non-admin closure) Qwerfjkltalk 19:32, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
- Propose splitting Category:Nigerian furniture makers to Category:Nigerian artisans and Category:Furniture makers
- Nominator's rationale: Upmerge for now. Only one person in this category, which is unhelpful for navigation. Mason (talk) 06:06, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Artisans is certainly inappropriate for the one article in the category and furniture makers is questionable too, as it is about someone who founded furniture factories. Probably just delete the category. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:57, 6 March 2024 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: Upmerge for now. There's only one person in here, which isn't helpful for navigation Mason (talk) 04:45, 6 March 2024 (UTC)

- Propose merging Category:11th-century Greek educators to Category:11th-century educators and Category:11th-century Greek people and Category:Greek educators
- Nominator's rationale: Upmerge for now. There's only one person in each of these two categories, which isn't helpful for navigation. Mason (talk) 04:27, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Single merge, not to Category:11th-century Greek people or Category:12th-century Greek people because the articles are still in other occupational subcategories of these. On a more fundamental level: what does "Greek" mean here? There wasn't anything called Greece in the 11th and 12th century afaik. It doesn't refer to current boundaries of Greece either because one article is about someone from Asia Minor. It might mean "Greek-speaking" but that would almost entirely coincide with "from the Byzantine Empire". Marcocapelle (talk) 06:14, 6 March 2024 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: Although an interesting piece of information, I don't think that this category is WP:defining. Mason (talk) 00:42, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- I tend to agree. @Smasongarrison: what about Category:Fugitive American slaves that reached Canada, isn't that similar? Marcocapelle (talk) 06:29, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- I was on the fence about the Canadian category. But, there's a long history on the underground railroad, and it's nested within immigrants to canada. I could be convinced, but I think it's more gray. Mason (talk) 06:35, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Fair enough, let's then keep it at just deleting this one category. Marcocapelle (talk) 08:16, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
