- File:1cityring.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- This ring is a 3-D Artwork and it's copyright is held by the creator not the photo taker. It fall under the rules of Wikipedia:Public_domain#Artworks. Therefore the current copyright tag (ie. {{PD-self}}) is incorrect. The correct license tag is Template:Non-free 3D art, making image Non-free. Since this image appears only on one list, 3 user pages, and one template, it fail WP:NFC #9: (ie "Restrictions on location. Non-free content is allowed only in articles") so image should be deleted, as image is not allowed on the pages it is currently on. --ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 19:33, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- First: to be honest, I'm not sure of this one. I'm a bit confused, so please forgive me if I'm wrong about this one. If I am, please tell me and I will removed is PUF listing immediately.
- The reason I listed this is that this image appears on the United States Mint page. The {{money-US}} license, regarding images from the U.S. Mint says:
- Important Copyright Information (Is this really PD?): "Certain coins contain copyrights licensed to the U.S. Mint and owned by third parties or assigned to and owned by the U.S. Mint [1]. For the United States Mint circulating coin design use policy, see [2]; for the policy on the 50 State Quarters, see [3]. For images of these coins, a fair use license template and rationale must be used.
- Going to the "United States Mint Circulating Coin Design Use Policy" pages listed on in the "US-Money" template it says:
- "PLEASE NOTE: This policy does not cover use of the design of any coin not specifically defined above as a Covered Coin."
- As far as I can tell this coin is not listed a "Covered Coin" (see list in first paragraph) just like the 50 State Quarters are not listed. Do this not mean that the, just like for the 50 State Quarters, the rule "For images of these coins, a fair use license template and rationale must be use" applies? --ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 20:29, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
